| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description Pave the path into the world of numbers and math with these giant-size foam tiles. The soft, 12x12 numbered tiles interlock to make sequences or add/subtract problems. Durable and washable, the colorful squares are also excellent for using as play mats, to make a storage box, build a tent and play creative games. Set includes numbers 0-9.

much higher quality than the other brands May 10, 2009 Amazon Shopper (CA, USA) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I got 4 sets of similar types of tiles, and the 2 sets from Edushape (the Edu Tiles) are definitely of much higher quality. They are much thicker (close to 1.5cm thick, vs. the other ones are <=1cm thick), and much more durable, reducing the chance of a choking hazard if the baby bites. These tiles are a lot more expensive than the others, and the sets don't come with the wavy borders and corners (which make them more attractive), but you can purchase them directly from Edushape website.
Great for hard floors!! September 14, 2009 Happy Mom (Landstuhl, Germany) If you have tiles or wood floors, these are great. Just enough padding so when the baby falls over you don't have to worry as much. They go together perfectly and you can cover the whole floor with them. GREAT IDEA!!
our 2-year-old's favorite toy! January 11, 2010 TJF (Baltimore, MD) We gave this to our son for Christmas. At first I thought it might be too hard for him, because there were many small pieces which are abstract in shape when they are taken apart. But actually this is what makes it interesting! It is something he literally will play with quietly for an hour, because he's interested in getting the pieces back together, and it's amazing to watch how he's learned about how the shapes fit together, and how to turn a puzzle piece to make it fit correctly. I have to confess that I enjoy playing with it too. Highly recommended!
"Puzzle" pieces great! "Number" pieces not. December 1, 2009 overseas mom 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
If you purchase the Edutile 26 piece uppercase letter set, you pretty much have to purchase an additional 10 piece set to make a square mat. I wanted a giant mat, so I purchased two sets of uppercase letters and the numbers and the puzzle pieces. The puzzle pieces are great. They are the same quality, thickness and color as the alphabet pieces and look really cute as a set. The number pieces, however, are another story. It's like they are not even made by the same company. The foam is a different thickness, the scallops don't line up right, and the color scheme does not match. They stick out like a sore thumb in my giant mat. So, if you need to purchase additional pieces to go with your alphabet, or you just want a small mat, get the puzzle pieces, not the number pieces.
Great or babies too January 21, 2010 Elaine (APO) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
WE bought this as a play-mat for my baby's toy space in our living room, it's easy to keep clean and he loves the bright colors. I know we will use it for years!
