5 out of 5 stars Wonerworld Stacking Rings Toy   March 2, 2010

I bought this for our 1 year old granddaughter, and she likes it well. It is sturdy and interesting in a classic toy way. The wood has a nice tactile feel that is superior to plastics, in my opinion, or at least a nice change from all the plastic stuff out there. A child can put it together, take it apart, or play with the pieces. It doesn't light up or make music, but it does what it should and will last until she tires of it, when it can be passed along. The paints are nontoxic, and the workmanship is good, with no rough edges.

my daughter loves this toy! she is only 9 months so isn't putting them together but loves taking it a part. It is also nice that it is made of wood rather than plastic. She bites on them but they do not chip which is nice.

5 out of 5 stars Classic toy   May 17, 2010

This toy is a favorite of my 13-month old. Even though the toy seems rather primitive for a grown-up, he stacks it and plays with the rings endlessly. The colors on the picture look somewhat "chemical", but in fact they're not as glossy and are very natural-looking yet bright. As others have also noted, the paint does not chip (it is very similar to the paint on Haba blocks). I couldn't find the country of origin listed on the site, but, if anyone's interested, the toy is made in Thailand (at least mine is).

It also feels safe to play with since the rod is very thick with a rounded end. The surface is very smooth. It's a classic toy and I'm sure will be enjoyed and will last for quite a while.

5 out of 5 stars Maybe I bought this too early.   June 16, 2010

My 8-month-old grandson is fascinated with this stacker. It's colorful, beautifully made and interesting to look at. It goes from being one thing to being lots of things when he dumps it on his play pad. It's supposed to be a stacking toy, but he doesn't yet use it as such. Instead, he likes to chew on the rings, and even on the stacking pole and its base. Perhaps he will enjoy it more when he's older, but actually, he likes it just fine now--just not as a stacking toy. I suggest it for toddlers. (Probably the description does, too.) But it's also a pretty, non-toxic, multi-colored, many-pieces teething toy!

I bought these for my 9 month old nephew for Christmas. I didn't expect him to be old enough to play with them just yet but he absolutely loves them (especially the ball on top). This is a great product!
