Product Description With the Tic-Tock Answer Clock, learning to tell time is a real hoot! Push down on the wise owl's left foot, and the minute hand moves 5 minutes ahead. Push his right foot and watch his eyes open to reveal the right answer in digital form. Or twist the knob and set the clock hands to a particular time. Whichever way you choose, it's time to have fun and learn. Preschool Toy- Ages 3+
Editorial Review Whooo can tell what time it is? The Tic-Tock Answer Clock, a brightly colored plastic owl clock toy, will help children learn how. The clock face in the owl's chest gives the analog time; pressing the left foot advances the time by five-minute increments. Pressing the right foot opens the owl's eyes to reveal the same time displayed digitally. The time can also be advanced or turned back using the clock's hands and central knob. The toy is a stately 10 inches tall. --S. J. Kurtz

a classic updated September 30, 2009 Karen Nelson (Takoma Park, MD USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I had one as a kid, now my kid has one. The colors are a lot brighter, but otherwise it hasn't changed much. I love that it doesn't make any electronic noises, and that the minute hand is big enough for kids to manipulate. My daughter was having trouble with time ("Susie's karate practice starts at 3:20 and lasts for 45 minutes. What time will it be over?") and now she gets it.
Also I love that you can drop it on the floor or spill water on it or zoom the minute hand around 300 times and its still fine.
purchased for Autistic son December 12, 2009 B. Martinez (pennsylvannia) I purchased the clock for my 8 year old Autistic son. He is able to ingage with the toy and learn at the same time. I would recommend this product for any parent looking for a basic toy clock in which to teach their children to learn the concept of telling time.
Great learning tool.. December 24, 2009 J. Benedicto (Long Island, NY) This is a great learning tool for time. I only wish it did more then five minute incremements...
Fun way to learn time February 1, 2010 K. Howard I like that this clock teaches kids time 2 ways. I am impressed with how well made it is...And very thankful it does not make any annoying sounds or need batteries!!!
Tic Toc Clock Rocks December 28, 2008 Chelsea B (Lompoc, CA) 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
I learned to tell time on this clock and wanted the same for my son. Though he's not yet old enough to use it the right way, he's still enjoying playing with it, making the minute hand move, and opening the eyes to see the numbers. I only hope that by the time he's ready to use it to learn time-telling, it's still functional.
