I received this as a gift for our daughter's baby shower. She loved it so much I bought one for my niece's new baby boy. From one month until she outgrew it (about 9 months) she played with this every day. At first, just looking in the mirror and at the animals. Eventually, pulling the animals and kicking to make the lights and music come on. Stood up to many, many hours of play and she thoroughly enjoyed it.

My baby is 3.5 months and like the mat and toys. At the beginning she loved starring the hippo and talking to it. She likes the music and today she spent time studding the colorful striped arch.
I decided on 4 starts because I think that the mirror is could be bigger and also the fabric that the little pillow is made of is terrible! I don't like touching it and sure don't think my baby's gentle face skin on it.

i loved this gym for my baby. we started using it at 2mos of age & she still uses it as a play place to lie down in at 7 mos. it has vibrant colors & she loved looking it everything in the beginning & later started pulling at the giraffe & rhino. the kicking board is great because she sure is a kicker & it's nice that it give her feedback. we are very happy with this product. we also added a "mobile" mobile we bought to hang in the top middle which she has enjoyed a lot....now that she is older she can pull on everything...so we had to take it off, before it was the most enticing thing when she lied down & stared up. she learned to roll around in this gym, it also has differen textures for baby to learn from. overall an awesome buy, i like the colors on this one as compared to other gyms. the tummy time mat was also helpful.

I bought this product from toysrus.com. They kept my rating but deleted my negative review regarding their customer service.
The mat itself is ok. It's colorful, easy to assemble, easy to clean, but not enough padding. The music from the kick pad is horrible. It scares my baby. She likes to follow the light instead.
Upon receiving the product, the kick pad with the mirror was defective (the music control pannel is not working properly). I contacted the customer service on 11/19/2009. The customer service person said that I would receive the replacement in 1 week. Almost 2 months later, I am still waiting. On 1/14/2010, I called the customer service again, and I was informed that the reason I didn't receive it because they didn't have the part. She said that she could send me the one that was on display in the sample room, but she wasn't sure if the part was working or not because she didn't have a battery to test it. I told her that I wanted her to put her response in writing or I would file a complaint with the consumer affairs office. Two days later, I received an item which appears to be an inner part of some kind of music pad. I sent her email telling her that I received the wrong part and I am expecting the correct one by the end of Jan. 2010. I am waiting for her response now. Will post the result here if I ever get a response.
Bottom line, I will not buy anything from this company or from toysrus.com. I really appreciate the customer service from Fisher Price and Amazon.com. They have the best customer service ever!
