Favorite activity every day! March 10, 2009 R. Lambie (Madison, WI USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
My son adores this baby gym so much that he can go in and play excitedly for over an hour every day. It's wonderful! Lots of toys for him to reach for and grab at, and he is completely spellbound by the octopus. It's a delightful thing to have for the baby. As a comparison, I also purchased the gymini by Tiny Love, and he likes it, but does not love it like he LOVES the Baby Neptune.
love it! November 11, 2008 jrh's mom (los angeles, ca) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
i love this product. my baby is 3 months old and is mesmerized by the octopus, loves seeing his face in the mirror, and enjoys the music and blinking lights. it keeps him occupied for about a half hour at a time and switching the toys around will keep him there even longer. easy to put together but needs extra cushioning for hardwood floors.
Terrific! LOVE IT as a mom and as a 0-3 specialist November 23, 2008 Oceanstater (Rhode Island) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My darling 2 mos old girl will play with this for 30 mins. I can interact with her or get something done. It is beautifully made and has many attachments so you can switch it up and keep it interesting. I highly recommend it!
Keeps baby interested for so long! December 14, 2008 Lisa Strickland (NC USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We bought this gym when expecting our first child because of the great reviews it got. As a newborn, she really wasn't interested, but at 2 months old, it kept her busy for an hour. I was soo excited, now at 3 months she plays with it several times a day and usually tires herself out, takes a nap and wakes up to play again. She usually goes at it for a little over an hour before I take her to do something else so she doesn't get sick of it...my husband and I also get on the floor and play with her on it a lot, but she plays by herself for the most part. The mat itself is also really soft, so I feel better she is not hitting the hard floor when she is kicking. The motion toy is also really great because it has turned into a kick and play item for her. She gets the reward of the lights and music when she kicks it. She hasn't used it for tummy time yet, but that will soon come. I expect it will also be great since it has so many colors and things to do with just the mat itself without the toy bar.
Excellent for the first year December 29, 2008 Sopranna (Illinois) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Starting as a newborn, my son would just lie on his back and stare at this thing, batting it around occasionally, for almost an hour at a time. Anyone with a newborn knows that is precious, precious time for you to do something else, while keeping an eye on the baby, of course. As he got older, he'd start to teeth on the dangling things, then he eventually would sit under it, still playing, and he's 12 months now, so it's disassembled (it takes up a lot of space), but he still plays with all the toys and links it came with.
