Customer Reviews:
5 out of 5 stars Gave this toy to my triplet grandsons for their 4th b-day   July 13, 2010
Revcat (Southern California)
This is a great toy for preschool kids. I was afraid it looked a little babyish but they didn't notice and probably won't for at least another year or so. Any child old enough to push a car around on the floor can enjoy this toy. It doesn't take any skill to hook them together, it's just fun. Don't know how educational it is as we didn't discuss magnets. I'm not sure that is part of the preschool agenda.

I bought this trio and also the emergency vehicle trio by the same maker; for some reason my grandkids prefer the construction trio. Don't really know why, but it doesn't matter as it will more than likely vary from child to child. Most kids this age enjoy hooking things together so I knew this would be a hit with at least one of the triplets, actually 2 out of 3 love it. The other little guy prefers to play with sticks, stones, and butterflies out in the yard :)

ETA: Manufacturer suggests ages 3 and up due to choking problems which would only happen if the toy is dismantled. So far it seems pretty sturdy.
