One of those must haves for Baby January 6, 2009 B. Okika (Nairobi, Kenya) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Every aby is different but there are some commonalities, such as their fascination with faces and mirror reflections. This mirror is great, safe and will adjust on the side of the crib. I hung it on the wall next to his changing table to distract to distract my son during diaper changes. It's sturdy too. He's pulled on it (and he is a rather strong baby) and it has held tough and I don't have to worry about it shattering. It's a small thing to have but oh so necessary. Great gift idea!

My baby loves this mirror. Sometimes I think he likes the faces on the moon and star better than the mirror itself. He started looking at it around 3 months. Now that he's 5 months he likes to pull on the attached star ring and chew on it. It's very sturdy because he pulls hard on that ring and everything is still in tact.
Love it February 5, 2010 C. Kumer Our baby loves catching a glimpse of herself in the mirror and I like that there are different options for attaching it to the side of the crib. Nice and soft so you don't have to worry about the baby hurting herself. And I attach toys to the star link which is fun.
Good. April 19, 2009 Myra Cedars (Phoenix) It has a small amount of warping in the reflection which probably not something that can be changed for a infant's toy. I wish that I could set it at an angle on the playmat. It is better to use this with a crib I suspect but my daughter is still using a bassinett.
It's OK April 14, 2009 Theo's Mom (Charleston, WV) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The mirror is OK...it's to replace an older child's mirror that isn't made anymore (why I don't know because it's an award-winner...and now I see why.) I bought this as a replacement for my son so I could take his current mirror (that has another side of b/w images designed for newborns, for use in his baby brother's crib. The size of this mirror is small but it's OK. The adornments are OK. I was really disappointed by the mirror's distortion and "fun-house" effect...which my older son found horrifying after having a larger, clearer mirror in his crib. (Shame on Mom for taking it away.) The method of attachment is nice and the price was OK too. Not impressed...but after much searching it seems that good-quality, large, clear crib mirrors just can't be found. This is an OK item...but it will probably be soon removed and not used b/c of my son's reaction to the mirror's distortion.
