5 out of 5 stars My girls (almost 4yrs) love these!   March 5, 2009

They were so excited when I got these for them. There is a good selection of letters & numbers & they have fun patterns on them too. When slightly wet they will stick to the bathtub & tiles which is fun. Also as they are foam pieces they are less likely to hold water to cause mildew.

A tip to clean them though, is to throw them in the washing machine in one of those zippered 'linen' bags. Just to give them that fresh feel again.

These appliques are smaller than the regular ones I found in Target by Sassy. There are two set of uppercase alphabets and numbers and also some extra letters that we use more often. thus it is easier for my 4-year-old son to spell some more complicated words. They are smaller, but since we have a small bath tub, I actually prefer the smaller size. Munchkin has a similar product with 84 pieces but only come in with two sets of lowercase alphabets and numbers. It looks like they coming from the same maneufacture... why don't they work together and put one set uppercase and one set of lowercase in each product?? just a suggestion.

These foam letters and numbers are very cute. I love the designs on them. My son just started using them in the bath and he has a blast. I am guessing that he will probably chew through them since they are foam but there are so many that we will have them for a while. Even if we have to throw one out every once in a while. You also have to really read the description because these are only about an inch and a half tall. I bought them thinking they were the bigger ones. Oh well...they will do the job. :)

My 14 month old loves playing with these in the bath. Even though he does not understand as yet, I spell small words on the tiles and make the sound that the animal makes. It's fun and educational.

5 out of 5 stars Great infant toys, too.   September 19, 2009

I was on the hunt for a teething toy for my 6-month old. He was starting to teethe and the usual teethers didn't seem to interest him much. We were browsing at a toy store and saw these, and I thought these would suit our purposes now (teething) as well as later (bathtime fun and learning letters/numbers).

The baby is now 8 months old and continues to enjoy these. He uses them for teething (they are made from a firm foam rubber) and he just enjoys playing with them the way you might play with blocks. He has a Tupperware tub filled with several of these and from among his other everyday toys, and he almost always seeks these out first before fancier toys. Highly recommend.
